Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 August 2026

A note on this document. This policy is a plain-language starting point written for a small, new service. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If EZLink grows — particularly into the EU or California — get it reviewed properly.

What we collect from you

  • Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can reach you about your account.
  • What you put on your page — username, display name, bio, photo, links and social profiles. All of this is public by design once you publish.
  • If you sign in with Google, your email address, name and profile picture. Nothing else, and we never get your Google password.

What we collect from your visitors

When someone opens your page or clicks one of your links, we record: the time, which link it was, the site they came from, and a two-letter country code.

We do not store IP addresses. The country comes from a header our hosting provider adds before the request reaches us; the address itself is never read or saved. We don’t set advertising cookies, we don’t fingerprint devices, and we can’t tell you who an individual visitor was — only how many there were.

Cookies

Only the ones needed to run the service: cookies that keep you signed in, and a short-lived one that remembers the username you typed before creating an account. No analytics or advertising cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner.

Who else sees your data

We use two providers to run EZLink:

  • Supabase — stores the database, your account and uploaded photos.
  • Vercel — serves the website.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with advertisers. We’d only hand anything over if legally required to.

Your analytics are yours

The view and click numbers for your page are visible only to you. They’re enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the interface — another signed-in user querying directly still can’t read them.

How long we keep it

Your account data for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and your profile, links and visitor statistics are deleted with it — that’s enforced by the database, so nothing is left orphaned. Backups may take up to 30 days to age out.

Your choices

  • Edit or delete anything on your page at any time from your dashboard.
  • Unpublish your page and it stops being visible to anyone immediately.
  • Delete your account to remove everything.
  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.

Children

EZLinkisn’t intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so on the site before it takes effect. Questions, or a request about your data? Get in touch through the address listed on ezlink.ink.
